Consent is a recruiting control, not a formality

June 30, 2026 · 5 min read

Blind submissions are still common. They damage candidate trust, create duplicate presentations to the same client, and leave both agency and employer without a defensible record of how a profile arrived.

What role-specific consent should contain

The named client, the named role, the compensation range, the work model, the privacy notice version, the capture method, and an expiry date. Anything less is a general permission that cannot answer a later question.

Make withdrawal easy and immediate

A candidate should be able to withdraw consent for one client without leaving your network entirely, and the system should block further submission the moment they do.
